I've had 4 AT&T techs and 2 contract techs. Both contract techs say the line between the main and the NID needs to be replaced. The AT&T techs don't agree. Probably because it's under ground and they don't want to dig it up to fix it. Time will tell. It's working ok for now. We'll see what happens after the next big storm. --

| reply to Nanoprobe When we used ATT in our office I called them to fix a problem with line noise. In three visits to the office they did not fix it. Finally I opened the main telephone box on our building (it was not locked) and found the problem. Our phone line had a loose connection. I fixed it and it was fine. The technician was useless. |
