I really hope there is a customer revolt against Frontier. They seem like a small enough company that losing a sizable number of customers would have the potential to be fatal.
While I personally cannot stand the idea of caps on Internet access, I believe that if they have to be in place, then they should work like cell phone overages in the sense that most customers won't hit the cap. My primary objection is rooted in the fact that caps directly discourage ISPs from making network improvements because it is much cheaper to simply collect overages instead of spend money on upgrades. -- This isn't fair! I was only supposed to hate just ONE presidential candidate! |

There's no reason to pay for something I can't use. -- This isn't fair! I was only supposed to hate just ONE presidential candidate! |

caps imply scarcity; if a product is scarce, more can be charged. If caps take root, there is little or no reason for any ISP to increase capacity unless they start losing customers in significant numbers.
caps are just a way to get more money out of existing infrastructure and customers without providing anything in return. |

| well then i guess you don't have to worry about that. But then again Comcast will hit you with one soon. But not as low. But still for the people that have Frontier and do cancel most of them do not have options except for Frontier Dial-up at $20+ a month, or Hughes or WB. |
