Attorney General Cuomo continues to lead the fight against child pornography and I applaud his efforts to cut this horrific material off at the source."
All this does is push CP deeper underground on the internet. Whats next? Are they going to block IRC? FTP?
Besides, most CP distributors will just setup their own NNTP server. |

If they do not get peered with anybody, there material is not going to go anywhere across the Usenet network...unless you meant to say FTP server? -- Usenet Accounts |

There is still no legit reason, that I can see, as to why they would create a NNTP server...far to much work and will approach being expensive which will in turn cause more exposure to them then they understandably want. Private FTP server is what they will move too. Think about the movie release groups...they release there material first on there FTP dumping sites...not Torrents, and surely not by creating an NNTP server. -- Usenet Accounts |

In related news, the DEA has eliminated drugs by getting rid of highways. Without highways, drugs are cut off at the source.
Someone might want to tell the politicians that Usenet, P2P, or even the Internet in general is not "the source" of illegal activity. |
