Now I need to find some 56k modems that support Linux, as well as some newer ones for the other computers in the house.

You guys need to simply embarrass them with data. 5 Gigabytes a month is far worse than a return to dial-up. Basically, their slogan ought to be "Read your email at blazing speed -- because we're not good for much else." |
