pennhunter : After six techs it still disconnects when it rains. The last tech figures there is a problem in the line somewhere on the street because she has had other people on the street with the same problem. She also told me that this property is closer to the CO than my other property where my DSL works all the time. She told me to call when it rains again so when I get back out there tomorrow it won't be working and I will call. Rain=progress because they will be able to track down the fault. By the time a tech usually arrives it's dry and working again.

pennhunter : I still have the same problem. After three service visits in which they replaced everything on my end, the problem continues. They figured out the problem was in the wire or at their CO and were supposed to fix it by August 22. I arrived here today and found a note on my door that the problem must be inside and to check my filter. Of course it hasn't rained in over a week so when it rains and disconnects I will be on a rampage. The India people have been fine, the local techs seem to find any excuse to avoid doing anything. The third tech that was out said that my first tech was lazy and useless. I figure he is the one who returned the fourth time and didn't do anything.
Sorry for the rant it's been five months of misery here.
