I've done a little poking around on the SE567 and it looks like I can change it to just a dsl-modem by switching port 4 to WLAN mode (and turning off the wireless). I'm not sure this will work so if anyone has a "better recipe" for converting the SE567 to modem only mode please let me know. [Unfortunately, the documentation I have found so far is minimal. Also, Frontier has "customized" this SE567 with their own firmware so options/setup pages reported as available by other SE567/ISP users don't seem to work with my Frontier version.] If I can succeed with turning the SE567 into a modem only, I will just add a good wireless router to my network and once again be able to connect with the iPAQ 111. Any recommendations for a wireless router? Thanks again for the response. Roy

Edit the AVC that is already set up on there. Click to the next menu, until you get to the choice for a bridge connection. I wouldn't change any other settings on the menus, except to change it over to a bridge. That is what worked for me.

roydw @frontiernet.net	Thanks for the Info. I noted that there were two "bridge" choices: "Bridge only" "with PPPoE Bridge" I assume "Bridge only" is the correct one? Roy
