why couldn't people here in the US and other free countries setup VPM hosts for them..

I wonder how well the Chinese would be able to block access to several thousand VPM hosts running on many different ISP connections?

I suppose nobody else would care enough to try..

My thoughts exactly, unless their walls block IPsec, LT2P, etc....
