| Way too low!
That's a horribly low cap. I thought having a 50GB cap with Rogers is bad. I've used well over 5GB in a day - not every day - but I downloaded 30GB one day. With speeds that go past 10mbps, low caps like that can be reached in a really short amount of time with downloading.
The ISPs think all people should be doing online is browsing websites, checking their email, checking the weather, sending a few pictures - well that's what they hope people will do and that's probably the only things some people do but what's the point of high speed internet when you can't take advantage of it and use it to its full extent? |

| Exactly. All of the send pictures/browse websites/light users I know of all have the slowest DSL/Cable plan from their ISP. The people who buy the higher speeds are obviously getting it since they've got a bandwidth crunch in their home. Like right now at my house, I have soo many computers and soo many people online now a days, my 768k connection with my usage at home is just taking a load on the connection. Can't wait to order FiOS. |
