Just 'cause the math on these caps is always fun:
Frontier's highest tier is 10Mbps. 10Mbps on a 5GB cap gives you ~68 minutes of use per month or 1 out of 720 hours. What an ISP hoot.
I'm not hit with cap & fee yet, but it's obviously inevitable for us all at this point. We need tools to control speed and consumption at the user end to avoid these caps and fees. Programmers, HELP! As much as my ISP might enjoy getting hundreds in overage fees, I really can't afford it. |
