Why oh why did they sell off their network assets and spectrum. Qwest had a GREAT wireless network (where they offered service at least).. If they had spent money upgrading to third-generation networks like Verizon/Sprint... they could dominate the areas they serve instead of just bleeding landline customers and watching their revenue tank. $5 a month markup versus people having full plans?

I think it was a stupid bullshit move, and seeing as how they have no intentions yet of providing real VDSL or FTTP/FTTH.. I really am struggling to see how they think they will ever survive. Their cash flow is already pretty crappy.

If it wasn't for their IP network size/revenues, i'm not even sure they could stay in business at this point.
