Optimum does the same kinda thing...only.....

A friend of mine was denied an email addy because her last name is Christian. Despite protests to a CSR, she had to make it somethig else.

These kind of policies are nannystate ridiculous.

Glad I'm in California and don't have to deal with that. My given last name is Christian. I've plans to change it - for other reasons though.
