 | My response to them on live chat, if they ever pick up what is the deal with the 5gb limit? Do you think your customer's won't notice and won't leave in mass exodus so that they can use services where they can actually USE thier service to do things like play MMO's, download music/video from various services, download games over STEAM, download windows updates, or even download Linux Distrobutions.
Just one game or Linux Distrobution will put a person over the cap. This still doesn't include downloading your music, using a video service, or playing your favorite game (in our house, World of Warcraft).
Why is frontier shooting itself in the foot like this? |

 | update:
They are apparently so busy, that GoToAssist refuses to even work whenever you try to connect to them on live assistance. |

 | reply to Tollhouse I just finished calling and the customer rep didn't even know anything about the cap. She spoke to a tech guy and HE said that as of right now they are not monitoring people's usage and are trying to get a higher cap set, especially since one of the services Frontier offers takes up more than 5 gigs. I was concerned since the 5 gig cap is in the TOS and that by NOT saying something about it means that I agree to the changes. If and when they do start monitoring and limiting I will be looking at our local cable company for internet services. |
