History repeats

So many true comments.
What is occurring in the world, i think, definitely has China at its centre. Why do you think they have censored the internet??? Because it is closer to the truth.
People...we are going to be back in the medievil ages before we know it, where torture and paranoia will rule. Just when we reached an age when life became alot easier it also became alot more ignorant. Instead of getting out on the streets and helping the poor we argue on the internet. Life is full of irony.
For the first time in my life I am willing to stand up for those nagging thoughts...like do I really need this purple blanket to go with the other 16 just because it is cheap...Have you actually had a look where everything is made these days. In China. Australian wool blankets made in China. Egyptian silk made in China. Macadamia nuts made in China. Well thats just great because if we just focussed our energies on buying local, and overcame our constant desire to have "stuff", then we would go forward.
I know I am going a bit far, but this thing with China and the olympics is soooooooo important. I WILL NOT WATCH IT BECAUSE I BELIEVE THAT WE SHOULD STAND UP AGAINST THE MEDIEVIL MEASURES THEY ARE TAKING. I AM UPSET THAT AUSTRALIA WOULD COMPETE IN THIS. IT SEEMS THAT THE WORD MEANS NOTHING ANYMORE....
In our news everyday we go on about pedophiles etc...and yet we take our beautiful people into a place where they take away the basic liberties of children. And its not just the Tibetans who have been oppressed since my grandma was turned away 20 years ago, its the chinese people who are told how many children they can have. If this was happening here, we would rock the foundations of parliament.
And yet would we?
Do we fight for anything anymore. Its so easy to lose our rights and hand the responsibility over to a government. And bitch about it when we dont get what we want.
Well mark my words...history is repeating.
We wont be watching the Gladiator, or Braveheart etc.... WE WILL BE LIVING IT (IF WE ARE NOT ALREADY)
Please start walking the walk!
