You can't have it both ways.
I know the salesman wasn't an actual Verizon employee, but still Verizon should have had more checks in place.
Of course why there's a door-to-door salesman for this in the first place I don't know.
If it's POTS, who needs a salesman for that? I already know what I'd be getting.
For FIOS, I don't need a salesman to get me to sign up. I'd probably sign up the instant it becomes available, if it ever becomes available here (it won't, this is AT&T land).
How do you screen for an 18 year old employee that most likely didn't have a criminal record, and anticipate that he is going to jerk off to a lady working in her garden... That is unrealistic.... That would be great in an interview "If given this position would you be inclined to masturbate in public?"
