LEC loses lawsuit

Court agreement by LEC Wireless to reimburse customer.

LEC Wireless agreed In Judge Linda Sibley's Ellis County Small Claims Court, Prescient 4, Midlothian, Tx to return the cost for switching from LEC Wireless to a reliable internet provider to Mr. Marcus Hardin .
LEC Wireless also agreed to return money charged former Texas Air Net customer Mr. Marcus Hardin for months of defaulted wireless internet service plus court costs.

Mr. Hardin agreed to turn over equipment installed by Texas Air Net to LEC Wireless. It appears that this agreement, sanctioned by the court, establishes that LEC wireless bought and owns the assets of Texas Air Net.
LEC Wireless should be liable now for Texas Air Net legal commitments and debts as well.

Mr. Hardin also agreed to cease posting derogatory articles by email about LEC Wireless on the Complaints Board and other online Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) monitoring boards

A door may have been opened for other lawsuits to be filed against LEC Wireless by those former Texas Air Net consumers who paid in advance for severely defaulted internet service and were forced to bear the expense of switching providers. This is especially good news for the Texas Air Net consumers like myself who paid a full year ($600.00) in advance and feel they are due a full rebate.

Mr Hardin said that the whole Court Proceeding took less than thirty minutes and the opposing attorney offered no defense against the claim of defaulted Internet Service.
