You'll need to get in quick though. Obviously Bill Gates knows a good deal when he sees one. There's a rumor he's about to make a "cash plus Microsoft stock options" offer for all the remaining PlaceboAV shares.

Too bad... cause ifing he takes over the AV he'll be able to charge us whatever he likes for the free version. He's no dummy -- he has a history of buying out new companies and then adding their products to Windows as improvements.

If Bill Gates starts charging for the free version it won't affect anyone who gets in early and grabs the 5 year free license. ProPlus downloads cracked Microsoft programs too. I already have an internal beta release of Windows7 cracked by "Dark Avenger".

Actually, even before he left Microsoft, he hadn't been the CEO for years... so it's way past time to stop personalizing Microsoft as "Bill Gates".
