Middleboro, MA | Bye Bye Verizon Fios Customers My grandfather called me told me he wants to see about switching to Comcast because Verizon delayed his install 2times now. They won't comment on why they had to delay it, when my grandfather asked if it was due to the strike there was silence for about 10 seconds and then she stumbled while saying we aren't allowed to comment on that. They had to put off fios install 2 weeks when they already had a confirmed appt this past Saturday.

| VZ probably pushed it back for any amount of reasons. Not just the strike. They could have any a problem or something.
But if it is due to the strike who says they need the lazy unions to do it? they can be getting ready to hire outside contractors and employees to do the same thing the actual employees do.
VZ is ready for the strike no doubt about that. And if it comes down to it VZ will let them strike and go about their business.
If VZ was smart they'd let them strike and lock them out and go on about their business. it wouldn't be hurting anyone but those damn union employees that think VZ owes them the world and free health care.
And the day they get free health care along with everyone else in this country. If they don't like paying to be sick or to have a kid well then guess what---eat healthy take care of your self and don't have any damn kids you can't take care of or pay for! |

Union negotiated that hourly workers only do 6 jobs a day. If they do more, they are 'taking jobs' from other Union brothers. If they work any more than six jobs, it would be bad for business at Dennys. Union members need to take at leats a three hour lunch per day. |

What happens when they find someone to do it for less?
What happens when the guy they hire tomorrow gets the better install jobs than you do?
What happens when the decide to cut your pay by 25%?
What happens when that same new guy gets holidays off and you're stuck working? |
