What has this got to do with anything? Right now we're seeing newsgroup service being dropped by many isps in America. We know kiddy porn has nothing whatsoever to do with this. Now soon we're going to see if the isp's reduce the subscription prices like Canada didn't do or if these American isp's get sued for dropping usenet service and not reducing the subscription rates.
Some of the dropping of newsgroups is that in litigation-happy USA if 12-year old Junior accesses porn newsgroups you could have your ass sued. If the ISP doesn't offer newsgroups then the liability shifts to the customer who must subscribe to his/her own service. |
