 | Illegality of litigation and actions need to be taken by all Harvard is the sole university publicly standing against the RIAA/MPAA in a direct face down. However, the industries do not want this publicized because Harvard's just a bunch of the greatest lawyers America has ever seen; what harm could they do to the industries illegal, immoral and insensible litigation? Oh, that's right; they could set a legal precedent outlawing the industries from litigating at such high costs (they sue for thousands per violation; legally they are only allowed to sue for cost + punitive and subjective charges somewhere in the range of say less than $50 per violation...)

More people need to fire back at the industries as well as the government. I for one struck down a policy at my own university which was overly cruel; I encourage others to fight for their rights as students in a restricted country supposedly "free." |
