Re: Ebay studio setup. Anyone ever get one?

Well I have to say I'm rather impressed with what I got.

I'll try and get some pics online once I get the hang of it all.

Pros
- You get a lot of stuff, and in the end the accessories themselves are worth the cost of the package.
- Everything worked as said, no "surprises" really to speak of. Only thing I didn't like was that the lights "Come with all the syncro cables to link up" but in the case of this kit they don't link up to themselves. They have the cables yes, but don't have anything to plug them into as a hub/trigger. So everything works of the slave sensors (eew)

Cons
- Grey background is CHEAP. And I mean it's like paper. I put a hole in it with my finger taking it out of the packaging. It's similar to those paper paint suits. Black and white BGs though are just fine.
-Strobe wiring issue above.
-Strobe using slave sensors can't be turned off. So even if using sync cable, anyone else so much as blinks in the room and they go off (Very sensitive)

But again, for the price... It works and works well so far. If you can live with the functional oddities, it's a great starter kit.
