DusterAZ : Pretty sure ATI Tool hasn't been updated to support the 4800s yet. What I did was use CCC overdrive which got me up to 690/1183. I then ran Furmark and got artifacts so I kept dropping the memory down until they stopped. Ended up at 690/1135. Since you can't run the CCC at all I would just start at 650/1100 and run Furmark. Then move the core up in 5-10 Mhz increments until you see artifacts and do the same for the memory.
--
"Guess what? I got a fever!
anon : What are you guys using to O/C your 4850's/4xxx? CCC for me crashes all the time whenever I use overdrive. What do you guys prefer using, CCC or just the Catalyst Drivers and a third part application to over clock? I'm using the latest Cat Drivers 8.7 from AMD with a 500 Watt PSU. I mostly play COD4 and sometimes GOW.
