Stations that were removed are:WOI-TV Des Moines Iowa; ABC affiliate KCAU-TV Sioux City, Iowa; ABC affiliate KLKN-TV Lincoln, Neb.; and CBS affiliate WHBF-TV in the Quad Cities -- \m/(-_-)\m/

| Nope.
Stupid regulations. The company, Citadel Communications I think, has the transmission rights to ABC in those areas. That's why Mediacom could not feed FOX in Des Moines, IA from somewhere else because Sinclair had the exclusive rights in the area.
A lot of people switched and Mediacom was forced to pay more money. Sinclair started it and now all of them will follow. Get ready to pay a lot more for otherwise free programming. I guess that's the price of convenience... |
