I can't really test it because I have all of the premium channels. |

| reply to cypherstream Yeah, a similar thing happens when you watch the preview of a pay-per-view rental, except it CHARGES you for it. Comcast, of course, insists that YOU bought it, and therefore YOU are liable for the charges. I've never tried it on premium channel stuff though.
The preview button is definitely bugged, tho. |

@comcast.net | I've never had a problem with accidentally ordered movies. Just cancel it as soon as it starts and call them up and let them know what happened, and they take the charge off if it shows on my bill. |

@comcast.net | Doesn't work at all on any of my STB's. That videos from February.. and I'm sure they've fixed it. Pressing stop after the preview starts just brings you back to the menu, and its not on the preview button anymore. Its patched from what I can see. |

2 edits | reply to cypherstream Well maybe that's why they went from guide version 74.53-3321 to 74.54-4003 so quickly, since no one seems to know what's so great about 74.54-4003 compared to the previous version.
Also it looks like it could be on an older slower box. DCT-5200/6208/6412p1/p2.
Oh and that SRM-8 error? This is what Seachange VOD says about it:
The subscriber chose to start a VOD video. The SRM did not start the session because the requested service could not be satisfied. One or more of the following conditions exists:
! Application server is not available. (Client specified incorrect application ID or Movies-on-Demand service is down) The client sends the application ID to the SRM in the session set up request. The application ID is used to route session related requests to an application specific service that is responsible for enforcing business logic surrounding stream creation and tear down. In this case, the client application specified a non-zero application ID in the session set up request and the application ID was either incorrect or no application service could be found to service the request.
ICM Status: CREATEFAILED-APPNOTAVAILABLE
! Client requested that video be routed to a node group that does not exist in the delivery Network Path tables ICM Status: REJECTED-NONODEGROUP |
