Re: FAP Limits Lowered?

Any idea why? I paid for 375MB limit...not 300MB.

It's definitely not fair, and should NOT be legal. What the hell good is high speed internet if you can't use it? I might as well go back to dial-up.

It has been that way since the 1st of July. Increased speeds and lowered FAP.

That is contradictory. Faster speed, but less MB download allowed? That makes great sense. Idiots. Does anyone know what the cancellation fee is?

Actually, the speeds are only increased for Spaceway subscribers. The rest of us still get the old speed and apparently the new, shrunken FAP buckets.

OTOH, HughesNet has forgotten to FAP me the last couple of times I've gone over:

»[DW7000] HughesNet forgot to FAP me!

The Home plan looks more and more attractive to me now that I've dumped my kids off onto Millenicom and I use the 3-6AM free period for large downloads. I would probably change if it weren't for the fact that changing ANYTHING with HughesNet brings the very real possibility of royally screwing up service that was working fine.

Guess I'll stay put for now...
