Cheeks Kilpatrick, really???

I can't take her name any more.

Cheeks?? What's with that?? Why can she just go with Carol Kilpatrick or something like that???

It's driving me crazy; I keep hearing it over and over on TV and seeing it in print.

In the recent primary, Kilpatrick narrowly won with 39.1 percent of the vote, compared to Waters' 36 percent and Scott's 24.

Unfortunately, it looks like she'll be around for a couple more years. Cheeks is her maiden name and apparently she likes it. Dunno why......

Yeah, someone explained that to me that it's her maiden name during one of my real-life rants at work.

I guess it is a memorable name.
