| I thought I was getting an update today because I woke up around 4:15 am and I noticed the red message light on my DCT-700 blinked once. Well I went back to sleep and then when I got up around 5:30 to get ready for work, I turned the TV on and noticed it was just a stupid message. I could of swore the light blinked once or twice though, and being that the DCT-700 has no LCD display, I thought maybe it was an indication of DL. | |

1 edit | There is a bug causing the box to report 100% full when you leave it on the channel you have set to record to the dvr.
Was that issue fixed in this new update?
I hate this bug so much!!
I always have to make sure I don't leave it on the channel I have set to record. | |

Bensalem, PA | Has anybody tried recording to a PC via firewire w/ the new firmware? I've read over on AVS that this latest update doesn't allow it anymore. Not a 5C issue, just that it doesn't work anymore. | |

About the firewire thing, that would suck. I'll let you know, since I finally got a laptop fast enough to record HD from firewire. I don't really use that feature much, but it's nice to know its there. | |
