anon : trying to swap hard drives from one computer to another.
one is a HP and the other is a DELL. both have XP Home. The DELL has XP SP2 and the HP has SP3. Both computers work fine, the reason for swapping is the DELL has faster processor and more memory. Now for the problem, by the way both drives are SEAGATE. when I install the drive out of the HP into the DELL it doesn,t boot-up to windows,it just has a flashing cursor. Made sure jumpers were correct and drive was master. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
