RCC/Unicel here in Walla Walla is GSM, is Verizon going to offer GSM service or are they going to replace the equipment to CDMA?
They'll most likey continue to use CDMA, and use GSM for others to roam off of.

Verizon Wireless will be keeping GSM for roaming but they are going to convert the system to CDMA. Here is a link to there news article explaining what they are going to do with the network.
