| speed and using torrent clients I am on the 3 MB fixed wireless service, and am not very impressed with my down speed, it seems to start at about 300-400 k and levels off at around 84k (when downloading from rapidshare, and when using a torrent cliens such as bitlord or utorrent its even worse, is there anyway to improve this? my jitter is only 1 and rssi is over 1100

Collingwood, ON | This is a well-known problem. On the wireless service, Xplornet gives you only a short burst of full speed, maybe 2 or 3 MB of download, and then throttles you down to a slower speed. There's basically nothing you can do to improve this...it's built into their system.
