Re: HD Replacements When Olympics Are Over?

Why not FX HD, Speed HD or Fox News HD? They just signed a deal with those channels.

Yup, they'll almost surely re-use that bandwidth, perhaps few new channels, perhaps for other bandwidth needs.

I would definitely want FX here in Springfield, but Fox & CNN could go. My wife wants E! in HD, and I personally would want to see Encore get on the bandwagon for HD broadcasts.

Well, E! is owned by Comcast, so most systems should carry it once there is room.

Not here. There are some frequencies recently freed up by moving analog channels to digital. I suspect that as soon as the Olympics are over, they'll start engineering a new use for this bandwidth, either new channels (I'm hoping for FX HD) or other new services or service enhancements needing bandwidth.
