Had to use IE to download it - Microsoft would not let me do it using Firefox (even with the extension installed)- the validation 'code' when entered into the box and pressing continue gave me a "this page could not be found - after doing this twice, I opened IE and it worked fine - then shut IE and went with FF again.]]></description>

I 'believe' Defender is mostly used with IE ??<br><br>I use Firefox 3.0.1 on XP Pro SP2 and with SpywareBlaster (the free Home version) and Avast (again, the free Home version) along with AdAware (which seldom finds anything because SpywareBlaster stops most all 'data mining' cookies).<br><br>Back to Defender - is this actually a good application to run in addition to the app I have?  Does it slow down processing?<br><br>Commnets?<br><br>Thanks<br>Robert]]></description>
