Has anyone figured out how to get them to do anything more than send a service guy? Each time they come out, they declare things good on our end and refer the issue to 'maintenance'. It seems that nothing happens after that, because nothing changes. |

I got the same problem here in South Lyon, MI. Shoddy internet service and at times my dial up modem can run faster then the 3 meg service I am paying for. Something has to be done to fix this problem. It seems at night for me anyways, that my node is overloaded with modem users. I get shoddy HD reception for my local channels from them. They use an HD antenna mounted at their headend to receive the broadcast. |

| We did end up having someone stop by after I had an email dialog with them. Without even knocking on the door, a Broadstripe employee climbed the poll and did something. We don't know what. After that a different employee stopped by, came in the house and ran some tests from his laptop. Speed was way, way up. After that we ran solid, 100 percent available for more than a week. So what ever he did, had some effect. I was about to post this news when we lost internet for about seven hours. OK since then, but I continue to watch. |
