My Service is still working in Clovis, CA. Anybody else still working??? Aug 3rd is today. Hopefully it keeps on working woooo
Clovis, CA here. My service blacked out on July 15. SBBD will be missed. Had since it was rolled out and back then, the only other option was dial up. Went without internet for two weeks after that.

Now I'm back to dialup 21.6kbps max $12 a month. I was looking at Unwired for $70 384Kbps symmetrical for $70 a month with $300 install fee. They seem strict with bandwidth useage and will throttle you. That is a huge downgrade to an avg of 60G a month download on SBBD. Only upside is it is fixed wireless and offers better ping for gaming from what I've seen. At $70 384Kbps + $300 install, the price is too steep to downgrade to.

Just found out two days ago after checking aroun, AT&T in our area is offering DSL. They can only offer the lowest speed for my number at 768kbps/384kbps $10 a month with a one year commitment + $50 DSL modem, self install. I'm appx. 30,000FT from the CO, So I'm crossing my fingers if actually comes out here. I will know in a few weeks.

BTW here's the CO info for Clovis that is recently available for DSL...
