anon : I thought about it then I ended up googleing the model number. Anyway to get to the interface on any surfboard it seems is to go to 192.168.100.1, and my connection problem did end up being an issue with signal quality... so I moved the actual modem into another room and I have improved signal quality. I talked to insight and we did some things to figure out what the problem was and it turns out that the builder ran the cable lines with the electrical lines which causes a lot of interference on cable lines, and apparently it has what also has been effecting my cable box as well. Scheduled a service call and the plan is to run a new line to avoid any more problems.

anon : I have been having some problems with my connection as well. I have the older Motorola surfboard but I live in the Shelbyville area of Kentucky. Anyway, I want to check the stats on my modem look at the logs and stuff but I don't know how to look at them on the surfboard, does it even support it? We have always had problems in the house with cable signal quality and it would be great if I could look and see what it is getting.

Any help is appreciated, thx
