Requesting a Tutor to Configure SpeedStream 5200

Requesting a Tutor to Configure Unlocked SpeedS

I'm not even sure if this is the right category for this request but I'm looking for someone who can tutor me on all the settings in the unlocked SpeedStream 5200. Reason I'm asking for a tutor is because I'm a networking novice trying to configure my own from scratch. I have a little understanding of terms and port traffic/management, TCP stack tweaking but I don't know what is the best implementation of these settings for my environment.

Having someone direct me would be far faster than just reading details about all these settings and I really don't want to waste time. I want to learn all of this as fast as possible. Feel free to ask me about how I use my internet and what programs I intend to use.

The only setup needed to use the 5200 is your Username and Password along with the correct VPI/VCI for your ISP (that is usually already preset for you). Select "Auto-Connect on Disconnect" and you are done!

Everything else is completely optional as it is already configured and secured.

You can learn about like I did, by studying the User Guide and learning how it works little by little.

»Efficient Networks Forum FAQ »Where can I find the 5200 Router User Guide (v2.1)?

Reading the FAQs also helps explain a lot.

Efficient Networks Forum FAQ - 5200 Model

As to tweaking they have their own Forum as we don't cover that here:

»Broadband Tweaks

And their own FAQs:

»Tweaking FAQ

This also applies to Networking as that has it's own Forum since it is a subject all by itself.
