CWA workers that I know work well. They don't "screw" the company over either. But I do know some unions, like the autoworkers are unwilling to give a little, which is hurting the companies they work for. I myself am not part of union, and the company does still offer a very good benefits package that is similar to what the union employees get.

All in all, our union techs are top notch and get the job done. They also try to make the company look good in whatever way they can. This particular deal sounds reasonable, as 3.5% a year is barely keeping up with inflation, but the union understands the sort of financial climate telco's are in.

Now lets see if AT&T will give us anything at all.I am a CWA member in California our contract ends in April of 2009 hope we dont strike.
