Re: Not a Apple issue Many areas are not a complete buildout, and most have 3G on 1900MHz (Detroit is 3G on 850MHz).
I agree though... I end up going from 3G to EDGE just by dialing a number.
I'm curious to see how long it will be before AT&T deploys another 3G channel (10MHz of spectrum).
