| No problems so far
I live in Cleveland, Ohio and I can honestly say I've had no problems whatsoever with my phone or the network. I've seen my phone switch to the Edge network a few times throughout the day, usually while at work inside. But it only lasts a few minutes at a time.
Call quality has been excellent, battery life better than expected. It seems my phone's battery has "adjusted" itself during the past month's charge cycles.
I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. |

| reply to frankgumola I'm in Cleveland, too, and have flawless 3G service both at my home and at both my offices. I was on Verizon and call quality is just as good on AT&T. I'm keeping my iPhone and giving up my Treo 700p. -- Fight the Smears |

| reply to dustman81 East Side Cleveland/Cuyahoga County NO ATT COVERAGE
I returned my new iPhone 3 weeks ago after 2 days of constant dropped calls and spotty 3G coverage. The ATT map showing complete coverage is a total fraud. Solon, one of the more pricey suburbs in SE CuyCo, has NO signals on its east side, and goes from 4 bars in downtown Solon to ZERO only a mile away. Travel up I-271 fades in and out.
Interesting that the new ATT commercials talking about "more bars in more places" show use in EUROPE? How about more bars at home? Or has good service been outsourced too?
Unless you're on the west side of Cleveland, forget it. |
