Harrisburg / Mechanicsburg / Camp Hill, PA Questions

I saw there was some activity from Harrisburg/Mechanicsburg/Camp Hill members, and I had a couple of questions about the local system. I may be switching back from DirecTV (long story) and I wanted to see what's changed in the last 2 years:

1) What's the story with FSN Pittsburgh? The region clearly has a large Pittsburgh fan base that wants it, and if the info the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette published is correct, FSN Pittsburgh essentially offered the channel to them for next to nothing. So why isn't it on the system? Is it to protect the "home team" (CSN Philly)? I don't get why Carlisle, Hershey, E-Town can get it, but Harrisburg / Mechanicsburg cannot. I just wish Comcast would at least provide a reason why. When I had Comcast I used to call and the CSRs always told me about the tons of calls they get for it.

2) How is the HD quality on the new HD channels? I remember Comcast used to say that they don't compress (and their HD certainly looked better than the MPEG 2 crap DirecTV tried to pass for HD). Does it still look good, or have things changed with the bandwidth squeeze?

3) How is the quality on the digital simulcast SD channels? Still good? SD channels on DirecTV on my TV looked horrible, while the ones on Comcast had always been much better.

4) Any word on new HD in the area?

Thanks in advance.
