@tds.net

Is it all TDS's fault?

For the last 6 months to a year, I've had numerous connectivity issues. About ever 3 months or so I end up calling TDS due to slow upload speeds and or packet loss.

This is also the same time that AT&T project Light-speed / U-verse is being installed in the area.

If you're from the Wisconsin area, and are also experiencing disgust, Barry Fermanich is the Internet Technical Support Manager. Hopefully if he gets involved with enough complaints they will put a little more focus on their network maintenance and relationship with other telco guys in the shared central offices and termination huts.

I have had tds service for 2 years I think. I have their xfire t1 service, every couple of months we start getting intermittent packet loss, so some period will be fine then for a few minutes nothing will work. it has been particularly bad for the past 4 days so I am in the middle of another support ticket with them right now.

they have sent teches to our building many times and they blame the qwest copper, then qwest will blame tds and nothing gets fixed.
