said by Midak :Lame excuse for killing "illegal" apps on jailbroken phones. From my understanding, it's only for apps distributed thru the App Store, if they don't check an app thoroughly and it indeed does funny things.
They would have no way of knowing what's on your jailbroken iPhone outside of the App Store apps, unless they remotely scan the entire contents of the iPhone, and phone home. Now that would raise serious privacy hell.
I'm OK with this safety measure, provided that:
1. Apple provides an explanation why the app was removed. 2. Apple gives notice to users that have downloaded that app. 3. Apple refunds the purchase price if it was a paid app. -- ,,!,,('-'),,!,, |
