IGGY : This still happens from time to time to me even though I'm now a Comcast customer. In one of the older threads an explanation was given that the behavior has something to do with communication with the headend. I'm not coming across that thread at the moment. The explanation was given in response to my comment I believe.

»Re: [Help] How do I reset my Cable Box?

Insight Digital 2.0 this is a joke right

»iggyz.com/?p=2053

»anyone had this issue with their DVR and onDemand?
--
Test PC Security
Cable Diagnostics
Blog
ZoneAlarm Help Vista x64 Comcast BroadVox Direct

[DVR] DCT6412 III Freeze

Matt_31 : This has been talked about before I think but I couldnt find it. Anyways its getting pretty bad on mine so Id thought I ask, for some reason BOTH of my DCT6412 III boxes (different rooms) when using the buttons the dvr box freezes. Then you have to wait for it to "catch up". As of late its getting worse, like using guide or forwarding it freezes (the light on the bottom right side by the clock will be stay lit) and then a few secs sometimes or even minutes later it will sudden come to and work. I have tried the unplugging for a while etc. However nothing really helps.
--
Intel E6600 2.4, 4gigs Ram, 2 - 150GB Raptor's HD's Raid 200gig Maxtor, Nvidia 8800GTS, Vista Home Premium x64 SP1
