Yeah I know, my speeds are only 180kbps with att. That's the problem I have because getting cable is too expensive and I don't need speeds that high, but having DSL my speeds can only top out at 250kbps. I'm at two extremes with speeds, either I get 250kbps with DSL or 5000 with cable, there's nothing in-between and that's what I need.
Anyway, I've had 3 ISPs in the last 2 years and it's been the same problem so once again another reason for inside wiring. Let's not forget this house was built in the 50's and I have no idea how old the wiring is.

need to run a new inside line strictly for the DSL and have them install a NID and splitter. this will eliminate the other inside wiring and solve some issues. but at 22k feet, you will likely never be perfect.
