In this menu, change the color space to RGB.

Hope it works for you!

Did what you said and it worked....well kind of. "Just Scan" did not fill the entire screen....when I shifted it there was a 1/4" black pillar bar on each side on all channels. Also a very weird oddity. On the left side there is what appears to be a "clear" beveled edge about 1 inch wide. The only way to describe this,is it's similar to a beveled edge in a photo that's been modified in "photo shop".The bevel is blurry but see through. Needless to say, I went back to the default setting and "16x9".

If I use Smart Stretch on a 1080i signal then i get about a 5% to 10% over-scan and the line is no longer visible, but I lose part of the image! Only band-aid for now that doesn't cause pixel loss is component, and that is a compromise since I am taking an digital signal (from FIOS) converting it to analog (component) and then my TV is converting it back to digital. Since no converters are perfect there are at least 2 chances for errors / degradation to be introduced.
--
REMEMBER: Stupidity should be painful !!

anon : I have the Samsung FP-T5084 50" Plasma.

If you check the AVS forums, pretty much everyone with this set has the green line issue when using Just Scan. It only happens with certain feeds though. Happens with FiOs TV, happens with some video games. It seems to be dependent on source. For instance, I don't get it when watching Blu Ray movies.

If someone is getting it on a Sony as well, perhaps their set has the same problem mine does while using just scan.

I don't really see a difference between just scan and 16x9 anyway so it doesn't bother me too much. I believe the firmware upgrade that fixed it for one poster was probably a Samsung firmware upgrade. Until your set gets the upgrade from the manufacturer you're probably going to always have it.
