I contacted Time Warner and they show no record of me signing up for anything other than $25.95. I believe it is not Time Warner's fault. I have contacted Whitefence numberous times for about a month and have (at their direction) faxed in copies of my confirmation and my cable bills. I have called them and was put on hold indefinitly. I set up my utilities, which was not a problem. I also set up phone and internet. The whitefence.com website quoted me phone for $9.85/month through AT&T. When I got my bill it was actually $16.50/month. I called AT&T and they told me that I must have been reading "old papers". When I said that I had ordered service through whitefence.com, the customer service agent had no idea what I was talking about, but she assured me that phone service was $16.50/month and that I was misquoted. She never offered to connect me to a manager or any other form of compensation. I will have to cancel my AT&T internet, which I'm really not looking forward to dealing with. I have not had the chance to talk to anyone at whitefence.com, but I'm going to have a long chat with my apartment complex manager as soon as I can.

bottom line, I should have never trusted whitefence.com. They flat out lied.
