What's the big deal?

I really don't know what the big deal is with people who are so offended that there may be an actual flaw in the iPhone. I would be happy that if there is a problem, it isn't going away and it will be taken care of. It would stink if there is a problem and we all ignored it. And if there isn't a problem - what's the big deal - this will blow away as quickly as it surfaced.

I think a part of the deal is that in the eyes of some, Apple can do no wrong and the fact of there possibly being a design flaw in the iPhone 3G is an affront to that.
