| | Wow I know I can't be the only one who thinks both McCain and Obama will make terrible Presidents. I know it's a sin to go online and insult the messiah Obama punishable by intense flaming, but Obama is nothing but a bag of hot air. McCain is a disappointment to free-market conservatives like myself but I am relieved the Republican nominee is not a staunch social conservative.
Regardless of which one of these two douche bags win, America will lose.

I'm not going to vote for someone who lies to his own supporters (Obama), and I'm not going to vote for someone who believes virtually the exact opposite of what I do (McCain). Tell me, who, then, SHOULD I vote for, with a realistic hope of that candidate even receiving news coverage? | |

Annapolis, MD | Absolutely vote for whatever other third-party candidate suits you best. If you hate them all then, sure, don't vote. But if any of those other candidates looks good, the more votes they get, the more progress third-parties make...regardless of how limited.

Campaign Contributions are limited to individuals only. Corporations and special interest group ARE NOT allowed to contribute under their flag.
Lobbying should be illegal in terms of any financial transactions that take place. Let's face it, this is legal bribery in our system that harms everyone but the company lobbying most times. Doing away with the "incentive" will make politicians less likely to go along with these bad ideas. I mean, let companies have their mouth pieces as that'll never change. Yet, remove the monetary gain, and these mouth pieces are no more powerful than you or I.
Set a cap on running for President that applies NO MATTER WHAT. Level the playing field so others can run. We shouldn't be stuck with the same parties every time. Allowing others a fair shake will ensure the same groups can't always win. This lessons the rate of perceived corruption or actual corruption taking place. | |
