Thanks for all the contributors in the above thread, I was able to make my mj to work partially with my new T5720. But I was not able to make call using the telephone. There was a driver error in control panel under "usb internet phone by tiger jet". I cannot toggle to use the Telephone. Only able using the pc to make calls.
Somehow I was clicking between different folders to update the driver and it pops a dialog and looking for USBAUDIO.sys. I immediately copy the driver from my XP notebook under c:\windows\system32\drivers. Look for the one with all upper case file name: USBAUDIO.sys, 58KB size. After the driver update of that Tigerjet, my Magic Jack works like magic!
Hope this can help all those who experience the similar problem. |

 | There was some similar problem fixed by updating/running DirectX. |

I just bought a T5700 with the stock 256/256 and I'm hoping I won't have to upgrade the memory and stuff to run MJ. Maybe your trick above will help!
I'll post my results here when I get it. |

 | reply to lexuser OK, I got my 5700 today and I've been working to get MJ installed, but the "usb internet phone by tiger jet" seems to be the hold up. I don't know how to get to the point where it asks me where USBAUDIO.sys is. |

I don't know how to get to the point where it asks me where USBAUDIO.sys is. You can just copy the USBAUDIO.sys to the desktop of the thin client from other XP pc. Then go to control panel, and update the driver of that "usb internet phone by tigerjet" by "install from a list or specific location" to locate that driver. That should do it. |

 | That didn't work for me because the system ends up looking for an *.inf file - not a *.sys.
But I did try something else - I installed "drivermax" on another xp computer and backed up the USB audio driver and then pointed the reinstall onto that backup. Then the system asked for about 7 other files, which I provided.
Afterward I had 3 unknown audio devices that don't work, and the MJ doesn't work.
I may have to upgrade my TC and then install DirectX like everyone else. I was hoping I could find an easy route.

 | I finally got it working (albeit with an echo). See this post: »unofficialmagicjack.forum2u.org/···ml#20041 |
