ATT Wireless in general

First off, I use Sprint. Whenever I phone family members/friends that have ATT's wireless service, I cannot believe the lousy connection. As in garbled conversation, dropped calls, ect. When I phone friends/family members on Verizon/Sprint-OR-hardline, it's a perfect call. I also have T-Mobile's service-same problems as ATT, which is why I switched to a CDMA carrier.

IMHO, GSM is very poor as far as consistant call quality goes here in the USofA. I can't attest what other countries GSM services are like, just what I deal with here in the US.

3G(GSM) IS supposed to handle calls/data AT the same time. Which makes it better then EVDO's version-separate calls and data access. But when I'm making a call I don't want a dropped call switching from 3G to EDGE in my home area. Japan has the right idea-all 3G @ 2100Mhz..period. ATT has a problem here, and it's going to be that way for quite some time.

Get used to it, GSM fans. I'm not a CDMA fanboy, but they done a better job....so far...
