| Text Messaging Comes to Landlines I love it when the press discovers a "new" technology that has been in use for quite some time.
Sprint (and the companies that use their network) have offered text to landline for a long time. And it's all automatic, send the text to a number and if the number isn't a cell, it goes as a computer read audio message. I've been using it for more than a year.
